Abstract:
While a classification of log Fano blow-ups of products of copies of P^n in points in general position is known, little was done for blow-ups of mixed products.
In this talk I will give some partial results for blow-ups of P^1 x P^n in this direction. For n=2 or n=3, when the blow-up is log Fano, we can obtain an explicit description of the cones of effective and of movable divisors.
